Decker is distributing free breakfast and lunch to any children ages 2-18 curbside daily from 7:00-10:00 a.m. using the student ID number. Student Online Learning Expectations

  • Be fully dressed in school clothes (not pajamas) and on time to Google Meets & stay on the whole time scheduled by your teacher.

  • Stay seated computer plugged in on a flat surface (table is best). Please, no laying on floor or bed. 

  • Mute your mic; raise hand and wait your turn to speak.

  • Make sure your video shows your whole face.

  • Eat breakfast and lunch & go to the restroom before or after class & not during class.

  • Use school computers for school work ONLY. Use them only during school hours. 

  • Google Meets/Hangouts are only to be used with a teacher present.

  • Log into all required classes, groups and specials. Complete all independent work assigned by your teacher.

Help Needed from Parents during Online Learning

  • Make sure kids have eaten, used the restroom & are dressed in school clothes before starting class

  • Find a quiet place for kids to work on a flat surface (no beds, please) without distractions (pets, toys, electronics, siblings)

  • Make sure computer is plugged in and used during school hours for school work only

  • Make sure kids have paper, pencil, whiteboard, marker and materials prepared before class

  • Make sure kids complete any work given by teachers

  • Email teachers with questions or concerns. Please do not use the mic to talk to teachers while they are teaching, as it interrupts learning for all students.

  • Please do not help students with tests or schoolwork. We need to know what THEY know.

Decker and CCSD are supporting the Governor's Stay-at-Home 2.0 by providing telecommuting services from 7:30 a.m.-4:00 p.m. and full time distance education. Call 702-799-5920 for questions or assistance.  Deliveries accepted from 6:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m. by calling 702-305-4326.  Meals for students still distributed curbside daily from 7:00-10:00 a.m.
